Description

Since discovery of the X-rays, medical X-ray film has been utilized to image-diagnosis of such as bone-fractures and fatal diseases. Physical evaluation of medical X-ray images was initiated around the 1960's, and was recently developed for its digital images. In this paper, assessment of medical X-ray images is historically reviewed, and design of image quality in X-ray film is discussed including artifacts.<br>
