<p>A stress analysis of an object with a focus has been performed based on generalized thermoelasticity theory. A solid cylinder and a solid sphere were chosen as an object with a focus. We used the fundamental equations which can treat both of Lord-Shulman theory (1 relaxation time) and Green-Lindsay theory (2 relaxation times). When stress wave reaches the center of the object, a very high stress occurs although initial stress is relatively small. This phenomenon is the stress focusing effect.</p>
