Description

Bisphosphonates and denosumab are frequently used for the treatment of bone metastases, osteoporosis, and other bone diseases. Many reports have described anti-resorptive agent-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (ARONJ) as a potentially serious complication related to these drugs. In this study, we identified severe deep neck abscess and/or gas gangrene related to ARONJ.
