Abstract
It has been long since the existence of dark matter had been proposed. Although it is expected that an unknown particle is responsible for the dark matter, we do not know anything about it up to present. But recent developments on various experiments might make it possible to detect dark matter. In this article recent results and perspectives on dark matter direct detection experiments are presented.
