Description
We have developed a new composite slab which consists of steel beam and precast concrete, so as to save the maintenance works. The perfobond rib shear connector is used to connect concrete RC slab and steel beam. This paper presents mechanical behavior of the composite slab which was indicated by static loading test and push-out test. As a result, the load-carrying capacity of this composite slab can be estimated with the complete composite beam theory, and, the slip strength of perfobond rib shear connector is affected by thickness of cover concrete.
