<p>31歳，女性．以前より細菌性髄膜炎を頻回に再発していた．2015年8月下旬，急性に発熱，意識障害が出現し，精査加療目的にて当院へ入院した．髄液検査などの結果から細菌性髄膜炎を疑い加療を開始したところ，速やかに症状は改善した．頭部造影CT（computed tomography）検査および経鼻ファイバースコープ観察にて上咽頭内に髄膜瘤の遺残を認めた，経鼻式髄膜瘤摘出術を施行したところ，術後から現在まで髄膜炎の再発なく経過している．</p>
