Abstract

In this study, influence of heat-treatment on high temperature Young’s modulus of the inorganicadhesives with aluminum di-hydrogen phosphate binder are investigated with a measuring systemby the impact sound of the specimens, according to the Bernoulli-Euler beam equation. Natural frequenciesof adhesive bulk specimens are measured by utilizing an impact exciting method at from aroom temperature to 900℃ and Young’s moduli of them at elevated temperatures are evaluated. TheYoung’s moduli of the specimens are also measured by static bending tests at elevated temperaturesto compare with the results of the impact tests. The experimental results obtained by the impactexciting method show good agreement with those by the static bending method.
