Abstract
<p>A multi-sample micro UV irradiator, which can simultaneously irradiate 18 polymer samples for accel-er-ated deterioration, was developed. The fundamental performance of the new irradiator was examined using high impact polystyrene sample, of which degree of degradation was evaluated by evolved gas analysis-MS focusing on the increase in the peak width observed in the thermogram. The observed results were compared with those obtained by the previous irradiator for single sample.</p>
