Abstract

<p>The purpose of this study is to review the concepts of “education” and “experience” and to provide the basic perspectives on the future direction of the outdoor education. Through reviews, it was found that education and experience have two aspects. Education is composed of two main elements : They are intentional education and non- intentional education. Also experience is observed two main directions : The first direction is the position that there is already worth as it is. Direction of the second is the position to try to enhance the experience more educational significance. If the leaders and researchers, to not have such recognition, to recognize the outdoor education only in their own context, there is a disadvantage that its essential understanding is limited. There is a need to take into account in detail for the individual context not only educational context. By accumulation of research to analyze the experience with these realistic in detail, it can obtain an answer about why doing outdoor education.</p>
