Description
In order to understand how the streetscape colors in historic districts of Mexico evolved, we clarify the following points: 1) The result of the colorimetric research shows different characteristics of the color distribution in respective cities, which can be categorized into three types: "Commercial-led", "Administration-led" and "Resident-led". 2) in the "Resident-led" type, great hue difference is found between neighboring buildings, and the color distribution in streetscape is unique or uncoordinated. 3) The closeness of residential communities has an impact on colors that appear in streetscapes.
