Abstract

This research aims to assess the leakage accidents in the hydrogen station with chemical hydride system. The facilities of hydrogen station were firstly assessed with the indicator by purple book of the Netherlands. As a result, the hydrogen accumulators were the most important facility in the hydrogen station. The flow rate of the leaked hydrogen from pipes near the accumulators was then analyzed with the physical modeling simulation software. In the analysis, to prevent large leakage accidents, excess flow valves that instantaneously shuts off the flow of hydrogen were very important. Finally, after the state of leakage hydrogen diffusion was analyzed, the blast pressure and the radiation of the jet flame were analyzed.
