<p>IoT is one of the driving forces behind the Society 5.0 movement, as it will enable enhanced automation, data collection and analytics in addition to optimizing workflows and processes. This paper presents a big data analysis technology for catching the usual/unusual state of the cutting tool from the spindle power consumption changes. To be honest, resolving tool anomaly with data analysis requires advanced experience, which is main factor that hinders data utilization. It developed that the proposed method allows real-time detection of anomaly symptoms at the site level without requiring advanced analysis knowhow.</p>
