Abstract

<p>The purpose of this paper is to identify Chinese recognition and attitude to visiting Japan after the Great East Japan Earthquake. The Web surveys, also called Panel surveys, were conducted for six times to analyze the intentions tendency in time series and the difference of personal attributes. The samples included 973 current Chinese living in China. Based on the simple and cross tabulation analysis, an intention linear regression model was further established, of which the parameters were estimated with least squares method of dummy variables. It found that, among explanatory variables (e.g. personal attribute, Japanese attractiveness), tendencies effect is a major impact to visit Japan among some variables.</p>
