Description

A 60-year-old man complained of fever, lower abdominal pain, and irritability. Stool was detected in the urine. Circular advanced cancer was seen in the sigmoid colon by colonoscopy, which was diagnosed as moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma. An air density area was seen in the urinary bladder on CT. Reddish, irregular mucosa and fistula were seen in the urinary bladder by cystoscopy. Transverse colostomy was performed followed by 6 months of general chemotherapy with panitumumab and FOLFOX4 or FOLFIRI, then we performed a sigmoidectomy combined with partial resection of the urinary bladder and fistula between the sigmoid colon and urinary bladder. Cancer cells were not detected around the fistula on histopathological examination. After 3 years, the patient survives without recurrence.
