Description
Several types of minimally invasive transoral approaches have been reported for resection of oropharyngeal cancer. We adopted Transoral Videolaryngoscopic Surgery （TOVS） which was developed in Japan. The indication was T1-2 and N0-N2a. The post-operative function was analyzed by Functional Outcome of Swallowing Scale （FOSS） and Videoendoscopic Swallowing Examination （VE）. The oncological results and post-operative function were satisfactory. The indication and the limitation of this method was discussed.
