Abstract

In the present study, we compared preference to and impression evaluation of visual patterns between people with and without migraine. People with migraine preferred flower patterns whereas people without migraine geometric patterns such as stripes and grids. In the impression evaluation, people with migraine were likely to report that geometric patterns looked too bright. In the living environment, we should consider sensory diversity and carefully choose visual patterns for interior design.
