Abstract

We designed the sign language contents for the aquarium based on information accessibility for the visitors who are Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing. We conducted the experiment at the Ibaraki prefectural Oarai-aquarium. After the experiment, we collected their opinions using the questionnaires. As a result of our video analysis, we confirmed that the sign-language contents will be possible to communicate between the visitors who are Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing. However, their opinions were that the sign language contents take time to finish playing. We must design some visual information contents that can help Sign language and convey comments in a short time.
