Abstract

Color is closely linked to our personality and mental development, and children’s inner cognition is often reflected in colors. During the concrete operational stage, children’s color matching and arrangement matures with their mental and physical development. Consequently, to help children develop color cognition and aesthetic sense, we designed a coloring puzzle game based on the integration of computer games in teaching, namely, metacognitive strategy. To stimulate thoughts, we helped Grade 5 and 6 students to learn the basic theory and application of colors.
