Backward radiation reduction of conical horn antenna using corrugated structure

Abstract
<p>Horn antennas are often used as a standard antenna for measuring antenna gain. However, conventional conical horn antennas have small backward radiation resulting in measurement errors depending on environment. In this study, the outer surface of the horn is corrugated to reduce back radiation. In this study, the authors have confirmed the effect of the structure to reduce the current distribution along the outer surface of the horn.</p>
