Abstract
Humans can convey various emotions and attitudes to communication partners by expressing subtle body motions that match with subtle emotions. Moreover, those expression creates an atmosphere that can, for example, promote the conversation. An android (very humanlike robot) needs a motion generation method which can modulate the body motion according to the subtle emotional state in order to convey various emotions like humans. This paper found that our previously proposed method is able to modulate the speech motion to express the desired emotion and proposed a speech-driven motion generation method that can express subtle emotions.
