説明

The purpose of this study is to obtain basic knowledge to design the footwear that is suitable for decelerating and stopping motions from a high intensity motion. One male participated in this study as a subject. He ran in the 85±10 % velocity against his max velocity and decelerated from lines which are 3 m, 2 m and 1 m far from the stop line. Three dimensional coordinates of reflective markers which are attached on his body were measured by a motion capture systems and ground reaction forces during the deceleration and the stop phase were measured by four force plates. Braking impulse in the deceleration phase increased step by step until the penultimate step irrespective of deceleration conditions. This suggests the subject wanted to decelerate his velocity to the level he can control, and helped to transfer the next motion. With increasing braking impulses, support leg angles decreased and the ratio of heel contact increased in all deceleration condition. These findings indicate he tried to take a posture which can increase braking component of ground reaction force.
