Abstract
<p>Recently, a realization of the real-time and small-sized NIR spectral imaging has been anticipated for remote sensing and dynamic analysis, and a development of small optical band-pass filter with fast-switching speed is the most important issue for that. In this paper, we have proposed an electrically tunable multi-bandpass filter using polymer-stabilized blue-phase liquid crystal (PSBP) etalon and multi-bandpass interference filter for real-time multi spectral imaging. As a result, we confirmed an electrically operation of PSBP etalon by measuring a refractive index modulation and clarified that a peak-transmittance of PSBP etalon is more than 80 % by optimizing a thickness of Ag reflective film.</p>
