Abstract
We developed an integrated Patient Condition Adaptive Path System : PCAPS. It is health care quality improvement system with sustainable growing mechanism based on standardization and clinical process management. PCAPS has two tools of Clinical process chart (CPC) and Unit sheet (US). CPC is whole map of the clinical process. US is a detail of each process. CPC and US are structural visualization tool for clinical process knowledge. We try to standardize the CPC and US on the national level. We developed the methodology for standardization of CPC. We begin to develop master file for US. Developed PCAPS contents are used as Clinical Planning supporting system in electronic health record system.The data of PCAPS contents are used in clinical ordering system.<BR> The integrated PCAPS is constructed with three subsystems,which are PCAPS-Builder, PCAPS-Administrator and PCAPS-Analyzer. In this paper, we describe follows.First is method to standardize developing path contents and to manage quality of clinical process using PCAPS. Second is function of improvement system with sustainable growing mechanism. Third is a need of integrated management organization.
