Description
<p>The church of San Francesco was revived by the latest seismic reinforcement technology because it is an important World Heritage site. In the restoration process, they have been reexamining past technologies and seismic retrofitting, and constantly searching for new technologies. Shape Memory Alloy Device and Shock Transmitters Unit with steel belt, Spring damper for cross arch are original technologies. The verification process and experimental data are made public, and consideration is given to the application to other historic buildings.</p>
