Abstract

<p>Remitting seronegative symmetrical synovitis with pitting edema (RS3PE) is defined as a syndrome with a favorable outcome, that is characterized by seronegative symmetrical synovitis with pitting edema. We report 7 cases of RS3PE in this article. In middle-aged patients with RS3PE who presented with edema of the dorsum of the hands and feet, treatment with a small dose of corticosteroids led to prompt improvement of the symptoms.</p>
