Description

We explain the concept of THz plasmonics as an extension of conventional plasmonics in the optical region. The analytical theory of THz plasmonic superfocusing modes in metallic V-groove tapered waveguides is described in detail based on the quasi-separation of variables with perturbation methods. Applications of THz plasmonic superfocusing show that the concept of THz plasmonics is very useful in experiments.
