Abstract

One hundred and sixty-three patients who developed cutaneous adverse events (CAE) during the course of immune checkpoint inhibitor treatment (ICI) at our collaborative research facilities and supportive research facilities were analyzed. The CAE had diverse clinical manifestations and their frequencies differed from those of general drug eruptions. With regard to target tumor and clinical manifestation of CAE, significant associations between malignant melanoma and vitiligo, lung cancer and lichenoid reaction were observed. Although only 10% of the patients had severe grade CAE, there were two cases of TEN, suggesting that we should be vigilant about the development of severe drug eruptions during immune checkpoint inhibitors.
