Description
<p>In recent years, the social needs for re-education of working adults (recurrent education) at higher education institutions have been increasing in anticipation of the 100-year life and the progress of technological innovation. The aim of this paper is to contribute to the creation of various recurrent education programs and the content and operation of existing programs through the introduction of cases related healthcare recurrent education at Otaru University of Commerce Business School (OBS). In the healthcare field, there is a need for staffs who not only have knowledge and skills, specialized in medical and nursing care services, but also have a multifaceted perspective, including knowledge of business administration and management. OBS promotes human resource development and business ecosystem building through offering special topics that positioned a regular course and certificate programs as recurrent education programs for working adults.</p>
