The evaluation about the stress of the human has many subjective evaluations by the questionnaire. There is no good evidence suggest that the objective stress evaluation using the biological sample. Therefore, in this study, we measured spot urinary cortisol concentrations (Urinary free cortisol/Creatinine: UFC/Cr) on the protector of the infants. We studied it for the purpose of the association between UFC/Cr concentrations and subjective evaluation level of the questionnaire about the stress. Furthermore, we considered whether UFC/Cr concentrations could become the objective stress evaluation biomarker. The subjects are 99 infants and the 102 parents. The study conducted after the approval of the university of Shizuoka ethical review board after informed consent of subjects. The investigation items are anthropometric data, questionnaire survey about the stress, UFC/Cr. We divided into two groups UFC/Cr of parents (less than 75%ile group, more than 75%ile group) and analyzed it about each survey items. An association between subjective stress evaluation level and UFC/Cr was suggested in the parents. In the adults, it was suggested that spot urinary UFC/Cr concentrations became the stress biomarker.
