Description

There are few systems that can evaluate optimal posture for evaluating the risk of back pain and joint pain. In this study, we examined whether it is possible to evaluate the lifting posture with low constraint using pose estimation using a video-image and a floor reaction force.Six subjects (22.5 ± 1.0 years old) lifted 0kg and 15kg boxes. We used three indices for evaluating lifting posture: maximum joint torque, joint angle, and center of pressure (COP). The subjects were categorized into good and bad lifting postures from the movies in advance. As the results, for the 15kg lifting experiment, the time of maximum joint torque showed low similarity, the knee joint angle showed a significant difference between good and bad lifting postures, and COP showed little changes and high reproducibility in the good posture. In conclusion, joint angle and COP showed feasibility for evaluating good and bad lifting postures.
