<p>This research comes from the idea that, in order to create the attractive local landscape, it is important for people to have the awareness of "understanding of diverse actors" and "proactive participation in the landscape" when admiring the landscape. We have developed a landscape education program using everyday landscapes to nurture such sensibility by focusing on the concept of "public sensibility," taken to be created by the coexistence of a "focus on oneself" and "consideration for others" through connection with other people. This program was actually implemented with Ehime University students, and its usefulness was established through a questionnaire survey and the program's deliverables. As a result, it became clear that "public sensibility" is improved by the interaction between the participants' "individual qualities" such as nonverbal communication skills and the "atmosphere of the location" created through group work.</p>
