Following the destruction of Takedajuku, a facility for child welfare established in Kashiwara city,Osaka pref. in 1926, an investigation confirmed a large amount of historical material form this site.Of special importance were photographs and other image data which recorded the situation of social welfare services at this institution during the Second World War.During the investigation and analysis, it was confirmed that deterioration by molds and mirrorings of the photographic material was the result of the storage environment and the handling of these materials through the naked eye observation.Clearly it must become a priority to develop an effective approach to preserve and archive to deal with the needs of consider such a historical data and materials unlike with museum.
