Abstract

This paper discusses an acquisition method of a received median variation in consideration of a variation mechanism. The discussion was carried out using a median processing and a wavelet transform. To acquire the median level variation based on the variation mechanism, it was important to appropriately determine the short term length and the scale. It was shown that the decision can be made easier by analyzing the received level variation without the ground reflection wave in multiple frequency bands. As a result, the standard deviation of the median level variation was smaller up to 0.7 dB, and the correlation distance that the distance when the autocorrelation was 0.5 was larger about 4.6 m than that by the conventional method, and the distribution was different from the lognormal.
