It seems extremely clear that a certain "Law" exists in the polishing of Ishikawa Takaboku's tanka.However, in research up to now, it has not been possible to approach a clarification of Takaboku's viewsof polishing, because we have not sufficiently considered the context of the polishing in the tanka publishedin various magazines and anthologies.In this paper, I would like to consider the characteristics of Takaboku's delicate polishing consciousness,while reconfirming the context of the polishing in Kanashiki Gangu.
