Abstract
type:P(論文)
This paper deals with Psalm 138 from the viewpoint of exegetical, structural and redactional studies that I have called a Literary Study. On the 1st.Chapter I have taken the text criticism on the Psalm 138 up. I have insisted to gie more attention to the Mosorah Text. On the 2nd. Chapter I have discussed the structure of the Psalm. I have pointed out that it consists of two parts, vv. 1-5 and vv.6-8, and that both of them have a motif <the salvation of Jhwh experienced by Psalmist>in their structural center. From my viewpoint, the first part is sung in the Jerusalemer Temple (v.2), and the second "in the midst of trouble"(v.7), namely a place away from the Temple. The shift of the place implies the de-temple ideology. The preceding Psalm, Psalm 137, is sung in Babylon, and the succeeding Psalm, Psalm139, emphasizes the omnipresence of Jhwh. Therefore the context of the Psalter suggests the de-temple ideology. I have concluded that the redactors of Psalter has set Psalm 138 at the turning point, from Jerusalemer Temple ideology to de-temple ideology, based on the omnipresence of Jhwh. By this arrangement they have attempted to show a faith without the temple to their readers.
