説明

The purpose of this paper is to clarify the influence of recognition of the causes and backgrounds of scandals. The research subject was a series of scandals related to completion inspections that occurred at SUBARU CORPORATION. In this study, I conducted a quantitative text analysis. Findings of the study indicate that when a similar scandal occurs repeatedly, there is a change in the perception of the “corporate culture” and “management team.” It seems that the cause of repeated scandals resides with the management team, and the essence of the background is preexistent.
