本研究では,2004年から2012年に刊行されたダンスマガジンから即興表現に関する記述を抽出し,舞踊のジャンル別及び創作活動の役割別に分類整理し,舞踊のジャンルと,創作活動に取り組む振付家と舞踊家の即興表現に関する認識について分析することを目的とした。その結果,創作活動での即興表現に関する記述は,即興表現の身体表現技術に関わる内容,創作に関わる即興表現との相互作用に関わる内容,そして創造・発見に関わる意識の内容の3つに分類された。舞踊のジャンル別にみると,ダンスクラシックでは即興表現の身体表現技術に関わる内容のうち技術的側面に関わる技法・バレエテクニックなど技術の超越が,ダンスコンテンポラリーでは,創造・発見に関わる意識の内容のうち創造性に関わる追求(洗練)の記述が多く,さらに創作活動の役割別にみると,振付家では,創造・発見に関わる意識の内容のうち創造性に関わる追求(洗練)が,舞踊家では,即興表現の身体表現技術に関わる内容のうち技術的側面に関わる技法・バレエテクニックなど技術の超越の記述が多いことが明らかとなった。

The purpose of this study was to conduct to extract descriptions of improvisation from dance magazines, issued within the period between 2004 and 2012, and classify them based on the genre of dance and role in creative activities, with the aim of analyzing its recognition among choreographers and dancers engaged in such activities, in addition to dance genres. Descriptions of improvisation in creative activities were classified into 3 categories: <techniques of body expression for improvisation>, <interactions with improvisation related to creation>, and <awareness of creation/discovery>. On analysis based on the genre of dance, contents regarding a transcendence of technical methodologies for dance, including ballet techniques as an approach to technical aspects, were frequently observed among descriptions of <techniques of body expression for improvisation> in classical dance. In contemporary dance, contents regarding pursuit (sophistication) as an approach to creativity were frequently observed among descriptions of <awareness of creation/discovery>. On analysis based on the role in creative activities, contents regarding pursuit (sophistication) as an approach to creativity were frequently observed among descriptions of <awareness of creation/discovery> in relation to choreographers, and those regarding a transcendence of technical methodologies for dance, including ballet techniques, as an approach to technical aspects were frequently observed among descriptions of <techniques of body expression for improvisation> in relation to dancers.
