本研究では,平成29年公示の「小学校学習指導要領」に新しく記載されたバドミントンを取り上げ,授業化に向けて子供達のレディネスを調査することを目的とした.バドミントンの技能のうち,オーバーハンドストローク,サイドハンドストローク,ネット際の攻防に関わるリフティングの3種類の技能を,小学校3年生を対象に測定した.その結果,すべての技能においてゲーム形式の授業を行うには不十分であるとの結果が出た.小学校3年生からシャトルやラケットを用いて対象物と自分自身の位置関係を把握する技能を育むことが,小学校の体育においてバドミントンの特性を楽しむことにつながっていくと考えられる.

The purpose of this study was to investigate learning readiness to the badminton of the third grader in an elementary school that was taken up for the first time by "government guidelines for teaching of elementary school" in 2017. We evaluated three kinds of skills for badminton overhand stroke, side hand stroke, and lifting among elementary school children. As a result, we confirmed that all the skills were insufficient for having a class in game. It is considered growing spatial awareness using the shuttle and the racket with enhancing these skills from the third grader would lead to enjoying the characteristic of badminton in Physical Education of elementary school.
