説明

The ancient Phoenician cities were famous for their production: beautiful purple fabric, transparent glass, and exquisite metalwork. They traded fashion and design through their marine transportation networks Ancient Greek people not only studied Phoenician knowledge, technology and writing methods, but also embodied their own thought in their architecture and city planning. They found an appropriate arrangement --agencement, in French, which implies "agency, " in other words an arrangement made by an agent-- of buildings so as to make their city open to traders. The acropolis, agora, and amusement activities of the city were places in which to channel the traders' desires.
