Description

The New Architect's Union of Japan (NAU) was established on June 28, 1947.After that the New Architects' Union of Japan Osaka branch was established in November, 1947.The Culture hall Amagasaki-City and the Library Amagasaki-City were designed by NAU Osaka branch. At first the Amagasaki-City was designed for circular duilding. After all,it was not materialized.The plan was meaningful,if Amagasaki-City that aimed at the improvement of education and culture of the citizens in that time designed library as the symbol.The designs of the Culture hall Amagasaki-City and the Library Amagasaki-City were one of the new subjects in the postwar that had the significance for NAU.It was improvement of culture.
