Abstract

Interaction between atmosphere and land plays a crucial role in their spatial and temporal variations. This article reviews recent progresses on atmosphere-land interaction that relates to synoptic meteorology over mid-tohigh- latitude Eurasia. We found a potential impact of snow water anomaly on the following summer climate via modifications of local vegetation activities and quasi-stationary waves.
