By the determination of the changes of weight, temperature, and its distribution we will indicate the mechanism of the dielectric heating of the heterogeneous materials, (especially woods.), and wishes to report that these changes of weight, temperature and its distribution are depended on the position of the test pieces to the electrode.

高周波乾燥の研究中乾燥機構の研究としては粘土を試料とした加藤教授の研究がある。我々は異方性をもつ木材を試料として乾燥機構を知るため，乾操による重量変化，温度変化，温度分布を最も簡単な方法で測定して得られた結果を報告し，多孔質物質の高周波乾燥の機構を明かにする。
