Fluid in a container at different temperature from the environmental fluid separated by thecontainer wall exchanges heat with the environment through the wall. In this paper, by analyzing the above heat exgange, the equations are derived by which the wall and internal fluid temperatures are expressed, besides a chart is drawn for the convenience of calculating these temperatures using from the equations.

回分式熱交換装置では，容器内流体と外界との間には容器壁を介する熱交換が行われる。この場合には，容器壁の温度は時間と場所とによって変化するが，内部流体の温度は単に時間のみによって変化する。また，金属を熱の不良導体で被覆して外部からこれを冷却または加熱することは金属の熱処理においてしばしば行われる。この場合における被覆物および金属の温度はそれぞれ上例における容器壁および流体の温度と同様な変化をする。本論文では，上述のように流体または金属が熱媒介物によって外界と隔離された場合について流体または金属と外界との熱交換を解析し，かつ解析結果による数値計算を容易にするための計算図表を作成する。
