Abstract

This study examines how the results of study of analytical bibliography were applied to the cataloging and classification of resources at the St Bride Library. As a result, the following matters were inspected. On the bases of the Dewey Decimal system and the Classification of the Gloria Club Library, which included the special subject of study of book, Robert A. Peddie edited the St Bride Library Classification, applying the Proctor Classification, which organized Incunabula from the point of view of the history of printing. This adopted classification is still effectively used to organize various kinds of materials of the St Bride Library.
