Abstract

研究の概要(英文)：Local governments in Japan attempt to overcome population decline and vitalize local economy. The national government concretely set the following goals: to redress the population concentration in Tokyo, to meet young people'shope such as getting jobs, marriage, and havingchildren, and to solve local issues according to the local characteristics. However, inhabitants in areas with declining population feel difficulty to bring these goals into reality because rising birth rate in area where a lot of schools are closed down and municipal merger is progressing does not sound realistic for them. We will report inhabitants' impression on local comprehensive strategy.
