Global environmental issues have become a problem of high interest to humankind. Root cause of the environmental issues such as a global warming problem is that the consumption and emissions due to human activities are above the resilience of the earth. Toward sustainable development of society in the future, it is necessary to reduce the output from human activities and input from nature. Comprehensive assessment of environmental impact of the whole product lifecycle provides effective measures to solve the environmental issues. In this research, environmental impact of hot water supply systems has been studied for possible improvement of the system environmental performance.
