Description

The Victors list of Basileia Game, found in 1963, was held at 268 BC for celebrating the birthday of King Ptolemy II Philadelphus. After adding some commentaries to the Victors list, I considers the social-economic conditions of military settlers in Hellenistic Egypt and the cultural policy of the Ptolemies.
