Abstract
Thailand has achieved steady economic development by adopting export-led growth strategy. The most striking feature of Thai economy is that its industrialization has been highly dependent on FDI, especially from Japan. A representative example of this is automobile industry, one of the most important industries in Thailand. This study will analyze how local auto parts suppliers have been grown and how the diffusion of technology to Thai entrepreneurs has promoted in automobile industry, while Thailand has accepted a great deal of FDI from Japan.
