Abstract

In my previous paper, I serially recorded Narushima Nobuyuki’s career from 1689 to 1745. This paper presents a detailed account of the articles provided to him in the first half of 1746. In April, Reizei Tamemura, a master of waka, came to Edo as an envoy to celebrate the shogunate of Tokugawa Ieshige. Nobuyuki welcomed Tamemura, as a main pupil of the world of Reizei waka in Edo and took part in a gathering of waka on April 19. As usual, he served as mediator between dignitaries from Tokugawa Yoshimune’s shogunate and the librarians of Momijiyama Library.
