関節液診断により,外傷性関節炎(TA)が慢性関節リウマチ(RA)およびコレステロール結晶誘発性関節症(CA)と鑑別が可能かどうかを検討した。 関節液の肉眼的観察および光学顕微鏡,偏光顕微鏡観察では,TAではピンク・混濁,脂肪球などの特徴が認められ,RAやCAとの違いが認められた。 関節液診断は,日常診療の場におけるTAの迅速な診断法として有用であると考えられる。

The aim of this study is to clarify whether synovial fluid diagnosis can distinguish traumatic arthritis (TA) from rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and cholesterol crystal-induced arthritis (CA) . Analytical observations through the naked eye,optical microscope and polarized optical microscope,show that TA synovial fluid is pink in color and muddiness and has fat globules unlike RA and CA synovial fluid. It is considered that synovial fluid diagnosis is useful for prompt diagnosis of TA in daily clinical examination.
